In June, we begin our 2026 season with Copenhagen, written by Michael Frayn. Copenhagen is based on a true event that occurred in 1941. The play is about a meeting between two great scientists, Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg, who revolutionized the atomic age and find themselves on opposite sides of world war II.

 

The show dates are as follows: June 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 26, and 27.

All show times start at 7:30 except the Sunday matinee on June 21. The Sunday Matinee start show time is 2:00 PM.

In August we will be performing a comedy written by Ron Clark, called Pierre and Marie. In a small laboratory in Paris in the 1800s, Pierre and Marie Curie discover uranium, radium and love. It is charming comedy that includes a blunt nanny, a profiteering scientist and a dull, and an overly ambitious department head to round out the rest of the cast.

 

The show dates are as follows: August 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 21,  and 22.

 

All show times start at 7:30 except the Sunday matinee on August 16. The Sunday Matinee show start time is 2:00 PM.

In October we will be performing the musical comedy, Young Frankenstein written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan. Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen") inherits his family's estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced normally), Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors.

 

The show dates are as follows: October 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 23, and 24.

 

All show times start at 7:30 except the Sunday matinee on October 18. The Sunday Matinee show start time is 2:00 PM.

In December we finish our season with, Ada and the Engine, written by America's most produced living playwright Lauren Gunderson.  Ada and the Engine is the story of Ada Byron Lovelace. The play details the life of Ada as she struggles between the traditional demands of her mother and the pull of her mathematical ambition. Ada sees the creative potential in "The Engine" created by her mentor, Charles Babbage. As pressures mount and feelings grow, these two form a partnership that will change the course of the future.

 

The show dates are as follows: December 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 18, and 19.

 

All show times start at 7:30 except the Sunday matinee Decembeer 13. The Sunday Matinee show start time is 2:00 PM.
